At XRM Vision, we believe in the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle habits and surpassing yourself. That is why our president Felix Robitaille, will be participating in a great physical challenge for a good cause. He will support our Quebec athletes by taking up the Bonneville 808 challenge!
A wonderful challenge
Have you heard of the Bonneville 808 Challenge? For cyclists of all levels, this is a unique opportunity to ride over a large distance. How? With different events ranging from 125 to 808 kilometres, you can choose to ride solo or relay with your team.
Pedal for the cause
By committing yourself to this journey, you also commit yourself to a charitable fundraising campaign! You will be raising funds that will be donated to the Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence du Québec (FAEQ). The FAEQ is an organization that supports Quebec’s top athletes throughout their competitive career. To accomplish great feats, these athletes train 12 months a year for long hours each day. Without the help of the FAEQ, it would be hard for many of these athletes to continue.
It is thus on Saturday, September 22nd, that Felix will be going solo to complete 202 kilometres within 2200 metres of altitude difference, all in less than 11 hours. A good portion of the XRM Vision team will be waiting for him near the finish line to cheer him on!
While you wait for D-Day to arrive, you can help the participant of your choice collect donations for this cause! And then, why don’t … you register to participate in this challenge?
