A major financial company, operating in an unconventional model, was looking to improve its data management system. For XRM Vision, it was the perfect opportunity to work on creating a platform that would help the company and its customers move into the future. The platform was to help the company by centralizing data and providing better visibility into the promotional activities of external representatives. The organization has been managing retirement investments for nearly 30 years by providing payroll deduction services to employees of companies across the province. With a large client base, the organization needs to work with external agents to promote its services. As a financial company, in addition to having to work with several data sources, it is governed by the financial market authorities, which dictates strict standards for the protection of citizens and their data. XRM Vision's extensive experience in implementation and process optimization made this project a success.

The organization has a dual responsibility to continue to provide services while ensuring the security of its customer data. The first challenge was to find a solution to reduce the complexity around data handling. The existing management system meant that vital information was spread across various applications, in addition to paper files and data that was only available in the heads of external representatives. It was therefore very difficult to get an overall picture of the companies participating in its network and to know the promotional activities carried out by its representatives. Finally, this operating mode complicated the annual audit process required by the financial market authorities.

Our solution was built around Microsoft Dynamics 365 with an emphasis on Sales and Power Automate with the addition of Outlook integration. Thanks to its experience and know-how with Microsoft tools, the XRM Vision team was also able to make the expense approval process more efficient and facilitate the onboarding process for new representatives.
